MATERIALS DONATION POLICY​
Please DO NOT place items in book returns or leave them outside library doors. ​DO Make an appointment by emailing: [email protected] 
We accept new or gently used:
  • BOOKS IN GOOD CONDITION - BOTH paperbacks or hardcovers: ALL Topics.
  • DVDs and CDs, Audiobooks on CD ONLY
  • ​Puzzles/Games​
NOTE: All donations must be in excellent shape to either go in the library's collection or be sold at our Friends' Book Sales. 

A good rule of thumb is:
If YOU would want to buy it in the condition that it's in, then it would be good for the FRIENDS.​
We CANNOT accept:
  • ​BOOKS THAT ARE DAMAGED or in POOR SHAPE - yellowed or flocked, brittle, marked up with pen or highlights, torn, falling apart, mildewed, smelly, discolored, missing cover jacket or pages. ​
  • Advanced Reader's Copy books
  • ​Library Books, Encyclopedias, Reference Materials
  • Old travel books, old textbooks, old self-help books (if it's over 10 years old, no thank you)
  • VHS or Cassette tapes, AV Media that is copied or incomplete, Computer Software
  • Award "For Your Consideration" DVDs
  • ​​Magazines
The money raised by book sales supports programming, purchases equipment and materials not included in the library’s budget, and maintains the Friends operating costs.  If you itemize deductions, your donation may be tax deductible. The Friends can provide you a receipt. It will be up to you to determine the value of your donation.
