Raleigh Bike Raffle

A big thanks to the following companies for donating this bicycle for our cause:

The bike pictured above is NOT the bike we are raffling.   To the best of our knowledge, our bike is a RED 2020 Merit 4 Road Bike Size 52 cm.  For more info, try an internet search or go to https://www.moosejaw.com/product/raleigh-merit-4_10480201 for a picture and description.  ​We make no guarantees or warranties.  ​

For every $6 donated on-line, you have the chance to win a Raleigh Bicycle (ASSEMBLY REQUIRED).  While not the exact bike nor model that Ray rode, you'll still enjoy riding it.​

​Tickets will also be sold in-person for $5 cash/each during the Venice Library's Open House on September 17, 2022.  Raffle closes at 8pm on September 22, 2022.

Ray loved riding around town on a bicycle - especially a Raleigh bike.  If you recall, on August 22, 2020, on the 100th birthday of Ray Bradbury, we had a special Annual Meeting in honor of Ray and his love of libraries.  Due to COVID, we couldn't hold the bike raffle at that time, but now we can.  ​

The drawing will be held in September, after the 22nd.  The winner will be contacted by phone and email.  Please submit your information when you buy your tickets.  Winner must pickup the bicycle in person - we do not deliver or ship - and winner must assemble the bicycle themselves.  If no reply is received within 24 hours of winning notification, another winner will be chosen.
